Motorcycle safety is for everyone on the road.

Riding a motorcycle is thrilling, but there can be potential dangers that go along with it.

In 2018 in North Dakota:
  • Nearly 80% of all reported crashes resulted in injury or death.
  • 210 motorcycle crashes occurred, 149 were injury-related and 15 were fatal crashes.
  • A motorcycle crash occured every 1.7 days.
  • 69% of motorcycle fatalities were not wearing a helmet.
Motorcycle safety is for everyone on the road. It is important for motorists and motorcyclists to do their part so there are zero fatalities and serious injuries on North Dakota roads.
