Brielle Faith, a special blue-eyed baby girl was born to this union. Allison was so very proud of the 25 consecutive years that she had played on a softball team beginning in the elementary grades and continuing until the time of her death. Another event that she was proud to have been a part of was the Fargo Marathon. An amazing feat in this area was the fact that she ran and completed the 2011 half marathon without stopping—just 4 months after bringing Brielle into this world by way of “C” section! Her sister-in-law Alyssa had the privilege of running with her. Allison had attended church in her youth with her family and continued as an adult member of Trinity Lutheran Church in Moorhead, MN.

On July 6, 2012, the Deutscher Family packed their vehicle for a trip to a family reunion in Bismarck, ND. It was a warm summer evening and the roads were perfectly clear. Allison and Aaron were a young couple who had just begun their family a year earlier with the birth of their blue-eyed daughter Brielle. Allison was now 3 1/2 months pregnant with their second child. This trip was a chance for them to share their excitement with family, who eagerly awaited them at their destination. But Aaron, Allison and Brielle would never arrive at their destination. In a matter of seconds, the young Deutscher Family was gone. Killed by a drunk driver whose blood alcohol was over three times the legal limit.
