Patrol has released the names of two people killed Tuesday in a single-vehicle crash in Hettinger County. Highway Patrol reported Meredith Clevenger, 48, of Joplin, Mo., and Jeremy Atwell, 34, of Houston, died at the scene of the crash, which occurred at an unknown time Tuesday on Highway 21, 3 miles west of New England. Clevanger was driving westbound on Highway 21 when she failed to negotiate a curve in the roadway, entered a ditch and the vehicle rolled over, according to a Highway Patrol report.
