I decided that I would share the information about your accident to others, in hope that it may save another life!! I also submitted this to help me cope during the bereavement process. I am so VERY thankful that I had my idea to invite you to Thanksgiving last year..Needless to say that we didn't know then that it would be the last time we would see each other..I will never forget you Kass!! I love and miss you so very much!!

It has taken me 4 months, To finally write this. It has been quite hard, You are truly missed. I prayed for a sister, When I was nine years old. My prayer was answered, Your little hand did I hold. I didn't expect it, That you would leave before me. You're with Mom and Dad now, And you've been set free. For our Father's house has many rooms, There is no sorrow there, Nor any gloom. I will think of you, With the late summer rain. That will bring me peace, And will ease my pain. You enjoyed my poems, So here's one for you. I miss you so much, And I love you. It's sure been a struggle, From day to day. I know you are with me, Rest in peace Kassie Mae.
