Laurie was the beloved baby sister of her four older sisters Patty, Chrissy, Wendy, & Carole and one older brother Jerry. Godmother to niece Tiffany Lyn, nephew Jerry (Bud) Jamal and great nephew Seth Christopher. Laurie was a fun loving aunt to 12 nieces and nephews and 16 great nieces and nephews.

Crash Details:
The 2014 Harley-Davidson was northbound at 11:33 a.m. on 117th Avenue Southwest, about 14 miles north of South Heart in Dunn County, when it entered the east ditch after failing to negotiate a curve. The vehicle rolled, ejecting the driver and passenger. Jeffrey Schaefer was taken by ambulance to CHI St. Alexius in Dickinson. Laurie Schaefer died on scene due to injuries sustained in the crash.
