Miranda was a freshman at the NDSCS and was about to enter the John Deere program at the time of her death. She was loved by her friends and family. Anyone who knew her will never forget her love of life and beautiful smile. Her friends remember her as a friend that was always there when you needed her, the life of the party, and one that no one will soon forget. Family remembers her as the girl that wouldn't give up! Miranda refused to sink! She knew her passions in life and lived life to the fullest. The love she had for her family was eternal and deep. She loved being a sister! She left an impact with everyone she came across and will forever be missed. Miranda loved all things country! Dirt roads, country music and her boots were her way of life! Always up for an adventure Miranda was involved in many activities throughout her short life. She enjoyed fishing, family time, friends, and her time with the Lord. Her sweet smile and eyes could convince you of anything. Her laugh was contagious and could cheer anyone up. Miranda is survived by her mother, Stacy Olson, and her father, Russell Stephens. She was a sister to Ashley Gunderson, DeShanna Dotson, Dicara Dotson, Blake Stephens and step-sister to Nathan Rodriguez. She also had many family and friends who loved her until her last breath. We love you to the moon and back baby girl!!!

Crash Details:
Miranda was driving early morning on September 27, 2014 on a dirt road. Miranda was not wearing a seat belt at the time and had been drinking several hours before the crash. She saw a deer on the road and swerved to miss the deer. This caused her to lose control of the vehicle and hit the ditch, rolling the pick up she was driving several times. She was ejected from the vehicle. The vehicle came to a stop on top of her killing her instantly.
