About Stella May Kramer-Brown

Date of Birth: 07/14/1985

Hometown: Williston

Stella May, our Mama calls her Bella, her little beauty, and our Daddy called her Stella Bella. Her friends, and there are many, called her Bell, but to us, my other siblings and I, she was simply, Sister. She was my best friend. She and her husband, Seth, had been together for, I'm pretty sure, EVER and I’ve never seen a pair of people fit so well together, even when it didn’t seem like it. My sissy was an amazing, fun, and always Proud Mama of 4 boys, Ezra, Isaac, Christian, and Alexander, as well as being guardian for 2 of our nephews, Maddox and Michen. She was also the only Mother that our niece, AnishawFe, had ever had in her life and the love between the 2 of them was always more like that of a mother and her daughter than an Aunt and her niece. Seth and all 7 of her babies were her reason. They were the reason for her every heart beat, and as busy as they all kept her she was still able to study hard and work even harder. She was an RN and a Phlebotomist. I’m sure, had she been given the chance, she would have eventually been a Doctor. Don’t be mistaken though, while those are serious jobs with serious responsibilities, and she was great at both, she was still always fun. She had the best sense of humor and if she was in the same room as you, you were laughing. She made sure of it. She didn’t care if the joke was on her either, the way she saw it was with a positive attitude, if it was funny, it was funny. Even if the joke was on her, because funny is funny and you can’t beat laughter. To her way of thinking laughter was as important as air. Man. She was awesome. She was just so awesome. She was good too. She was such a girly girl but somehow, at the same time, she wasn’t a girly girl. She loved looking pretty and wearing pretty dresses and high heeled shoes. Just as much as she loved sports. She was a NUT about basketball, football, hockey, and racing. So picture this, you’re watching a game, it’s a good one, the camera scans the crowd, stopping and settling on a dark haired, dark eyed beauty, wearing a short hot pink dress and black 3 inch high heeled shoes. Stunning! Absolutely a vision. Now, picture her bellowing like a man, cussing like a sailor, and jumping up and down. In her black 3 inch high heeled shoes. That was my Sister.. As beautiful as she was she would never have been mistaken as a soft spoken Southern Belle. She was unique. One of a kind. She was so smart. She was my best friend. Dang it. I miss her. Everybody who knew her misses her. Stella May Kramer-Brown. Mama's beauty, daddy’s baby girl, Seth’s woman, Mama to 7, Bell to her friends, Aunty to many, and Sister to 6 (plus our spouses). The best of us all.

Crash Details

Crash Date: 08/27/2016

Crash Location: Langdon, N.D.

Contributing Factors in Crash: Hit by a distracted driver, Pedestrian

Crash Details:
Stella was having a game night with her husband and her 7 babies, however, the board game they had planned to play had been forgotten at our nieces house. So Stella said she’d go get the game because she could walk her dog at the same time. As they were walking they were struck, from behind, by a young man who was driving a 2003 GMC Yukon XL. She didn’t see him coming so she had no chance to get out of his way. All I know as a fact is that my Sister, my best friend, was taken away from me, from all of us, and losing her has changed every single person in my entire family.
