Drive Sober or Get Pulled Over begins Friday

STATEWIDE, N.D. – Law enforcement across the state will have extra patrols to remove impaired drivers from the road during
Drive Sober or Get Pulled Over
from Dec. 13 – Jan. 31, 2025.
In 2023, one alcohol-related crash occurred about every 13 hours and an alcohol-related traffic death occurred about every 10 days. Alcohol-related crashes, deaths and arrests are 100% preventable by driving sober or finding a sober ride.
This campaign is part of the
Vision Zero
strategy to eliminate motor vehicle crash fatalities and serious injuries on North Dakota roads.
