Drive Sober or Get Pulled Over begins Friday

Drive Sober or Get Pulled Over begins Friday

For Immediate Release: Dec 11 2024
STATEWIDE, N.D. – Law enforcement across the state will have extra patrols to remove impaired drivers from the road during Drive Sober or Get Pulled Over from Dec. 13 – Jan. 31, 2025.

In 2023, one alcohol-related crash occurred about every 13 hours and an alcohol-related traffic death occurred about every 10 days. Alcohol-related crashes, deaths and arrests are 100% preventable by driving sober or finding a sober ride.

This campaign is part of the Vision Zero strategy to eliminate motor vehicle crash fatalities and serious injuries on North Dakota roads.

Visit the North Dakota Crash Memorial Wall to view memorials built on the hope of preventing another death on North Dakota roads.
