For Immediate Release: Aug 06 2024
FARGO, N.D. – The top DUI enforcers in Eastern North Dakota will be honored at the Fargo-Moorhead RedHawks game on Aug. 13 at Newman Outdoor Field. The event will begin at 7 p.m. and will recognize the outstanding efforts of law enforcement officers and prosecutors for keeping North Dakota's roadways safe from impaired drivers.
"We are incredibly proud of these dedicated officers who work tirelessly to ensure the safety of our community," said Vision Zero Outreach Program Director Ryan Gellner. "Their commitment to removing impaired drivers from our roads is commendable and deserves this special recognition."
Join Vision Zero in celebrating the bravery and dedication of these officers as they take the field to be honored for their critical contributions to road safety.
Alcohol and drug-related crashes, fatalities and arrests are 100% preventable. Many lives would be saved in North Dakota each year if every driver consistently makes the choice to always drive sober, find a sober ride or use a ride-hailing service.
Drive Sober or Get Pulled Over begins statewide on Aug. 16 and ends Sept. 2.
