STATEWIDE, N.D. – ND Sober Ride, a Vision Zero program that helps reduce impaired driving on North Dakota roads, will offer discounted Lyft rides, where available, over the Christmas and New Year's holiday period. Ride codes will be valid from Dec. 19, 2025 through Jan. 1, 2026, or while codes last. Use Lyft code "VZWINTER25" to receive $10 off your ride.
During the recent Thanksgiving campaign, nearly 70 discounted Lyft rides were redeemed. Each ride represents a North Dakotan who chose a sober ride home – a decision that saves lives.
ND Sober Ride codes are sponsored by AAA – The Auto Club Group. Businesses or organizations interested in supporting this effort can contact jubailey@nd.gov for sponsorship opportunities.
