Don’t miss out: Last chance to register for free teen driving safety event

Grand Forks, ND – Time is running out to register teens for Vision Zero Driving Skills for Success (DSFS), an interactive driving program designed to give teens hands-on driving experience.

Teen drivers with a permit or license between the ages of 14 to 18 are invited to attend on Wednesday, July 9 at the Alerus Center. This free, one-day safety event offers sessions from 9 a.m. to noon or 1 to 4 p.m. Registration closes July 2.

Vision Zero DSFS allows teens to participate in a variety of engaging traffic safety activities. Teens will have the opportunity to drive a controlled course with law enforcement while having various distractions, experience virtual simulators, and many more interactive stations.

Register online at VisionZero.ND.gov.

Teens are also welcome to sign up for the ND Safety Council's Alive at 25 course. Alive at 25 is an interactive classroom course designed to reduce the likelihood of young drivers ending up in a vehicle crash.
