No tricks, just safe rides: Use ND Sober Ride this Halloween

STATEWIDE, N.D. – ND Sober Ride, a Vision Zero program designed to remove impaired drivers from North Dakota roads, will offer discounted Lyft rides where available this Halloween. Ride codes will be valid from Oct. 31 through Nov. 1. Riders can use Lyft code “VZHALLOWEEN25” to receive $10 off their ride.

“Each time someone makes the choice to drive sober or use a program like ND Sober Ride, they’re not just protecting themselves, they’re helping save lives and making North Dakota’s roads safer for everyone,” said Kelly Aberle, impaired driving program manager for North Dakota Department of Transportation.

The ride codes are sponsored by AAA – The Auto Club Group. Businesses and organizations interested in supporting this life-saving effort can contact Vision Zero at kamongeon@nd.gov.

Important Details:

  • Lyft codes are unique to each period and can only be used once per user during the campaign.
  • Lyft codes are available while supplies last.
  • Codes can be found on the Vision Zero website.

This campaign is part of Vision Zero’s ongoing strategy to eliminate fatalities and serious injuries on North Dakota roadways.
