Vision Zero hosting Click It for Coffee events

REGIONAL, N.D. - Representatives from Vision Zero and local law enforcement are once again encouraging seat belt use in exchange for coffee with Click It for Coffee events going on in the Bismarck-Mandan and Minot areas.
The public is invited to join Vision Zero and the Burleigh County Sheriff's Office at Boneshaker Coffee in Bismarck on Tuesday, May 24 from noon – 5 p.m. Drive-through customers wearing their seat belts will receive $1 off their drink order.
A second event will take place Tuesday at Broadway Bean and Bagel in Minot from 7 a.m. - 2 p.m. All drive-through customers wearing their seat belts will receive $1 off their drink order and a coupon for $0.50 off their next order.
A third Click It for Coffee event will take place with help from the Morton County Sheriff’s office at Balancing Goat Coffee Co. in Mandan on Wednesday, June 1 from 6 a.m. – 6 p.m. Drive-through customers wearing their seat belt will receive $1 off their order and a coupon for $1 off their next order.
These events are held in conjunction with the statewide Click It or Ticket enforcement campaign that begins today through June 5 and is part of the Vision Zero strategy to eliminate motor vehicle crash fatalities and serious injuries on North Dakota roads.
Preliminary crash fatalities in 2022 have reached 19 as of May 20, 2022. Of these fatalities, 61% were unbelted where seat belts were present in the vehicle.
